Members of Gretna Area Chamber of Commerce –

To begin, I hope you and your loved ones are doing well and staying safe & healthy during these strange times. While it has only been a few months since we were celebrating together at the Annual Banquet – eating delicious tacos and playing Music BINGO – that almost seems like a different lifetime now. I know many of our Gretna area businesses are feeling the push and pull between staying safe and staying in business as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

While I won’t claim to have any easy answers or remedies, I want to assure you the Chamber of Commerce is here for you. It is our purpose and our mission to support community businesses in any way we can. In short, we are here to help. Below are just a few of the ways your Chamber can be of assistance to you:

• Information – By keeping current on updates from government offices, other local & national chambers, and business-minded agencies like the SBA, we can share the latest news regarding operating requirements, mandates, and suggested practices.

• Resources – We can point you in the right direction for organizations and individuals to help. If you think you are eligible for CARES Act funding or other programs, but don’t know where to turn, we may be able to connect you.

• Networking – Even in this trying time, there are people who need what you provide. Use your Chamber as a center point for connecting with others in the business community.

• Promotion – Are you offering a special or other promo? Are you in the office or have your hours changed? Maybe first responders get an exclusive deal? Let us know and we can help you get the word out.

The pride we feel as members of the Gretna community is the result of how we pull together in times of need. We will make it through, as a community, and your Chamber of Commerce is here to roll up our sleeves and help our friends, neighbors, and families in this difficult time. We are in this together and we will show, once more, that we are #GretnaStrong.

Wishing you good health, safety, and abundance!

Sincerely,

Bryan Boyce
President, Gretna Area Chamber of Commerce
