Accent Electric is looking to add a Accounting Specialist to our team! 

About Us:

Accent Electric is a growing electrical company committed to delivering exceptional service and results. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper to join our team and help manage our financial records with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions (A/R, A/P, payroll, etc.)
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Work with CPA on tax filings and end-of-year reporting
  • Manage invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
  • Use accounting software (QuickBooks)
  • Permitting & Inspections 
  • Quickbooks Time - adjusting timesheets, adding to the schedule, adding vacation time, etc. 
  • General clerical duties 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in accounting 
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required)

Compensation:
