Accent Electric is looking to add a Accounting Specialist to our team!

Accent Electric is a growing electrical company committed to delivering exceptional service and results. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper to join our team and help manage our financial records with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries
- Record day-to-day financial transactions (A/R, A/P, payroll, etc.)
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Work with CPA on tax filings and end-of-year reporting
- Manage invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
- Use accounting software (QuickBooks)
- Permitting & Inspections
- Quickbooks Time - adjusting timesheets, adding to the schedule, adding vacation time, etc.
- General clerical duties
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required)
