Event Description:
Apex Martial Arts is hosting an Invitational Taekwondo Tournament on
Saturday February 1st, 2025 at the Gretna Middle School.
The tournament will draw 200-300 competitors and hundreds of spectators
from Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, Iowa, Missouri and Colorado for a day of
competition along with earning points toward State, National, and International
competition.
Apex Martial Arts is associated with Global Traditional Martial Arts (GTMA). This
organization has its roots here in Omaha, where Chief Master Richard Reed and Eternal
Grand Master Haeng Ung Lee brought Taekwondo to the United States. His brother,
Grand Master G.K. Lee, now carries on his mission in the founding and training offered
with GTMA.
